Not suitable for double Din units with motorised or removable screens
***For vehicles fitted with Business RDS radio – Extensive modifications are required behind the radio in order to fit a double din radio (Picture 1)***
NOTE: Cars fitted with Business or Professional navigation units require some modification
Starting above the glove box, remove the coloured trim that runs along the length of the dashboard and around the radio.
Unscrew the radio and remove it, you will need to unclip the heater control panel too as this will have to be relocated.
Once the original radio has been removed the plastic supporting tray must be cut and removed from the dashboard (pictures 2 & 3)
The exposed heater matrix must be re-sealed using Dynamat. You will need to fabricate a bracket to fasten the radio and secure into the dashboard (Picture 4)
Relocate the heater control panel into the small storage pocket above the ashtray. The wiring is just long enough to do this. the heater control will clip in place (Picture 5)
